Business Development Manager
Hello, friends!
We are looking for a proactive Business Development Manager in Warsaw for our client – an international company, developer and manufacturer of smart TVs and TV services.
The company’s brand is represented on the markets of Europe and Asia. They develop their own software with an intuitive interface. They provide their customers with 24/7 support.
The main task is to develop effective business processes with the company’s partners – national chains of electronics and electronics supermarkets to improve sales performance. This is a new position for the company on the market of Poland and Slovakia, so two managers are invited to join the team at once. Conversational English is necessary for free communication with partners.
We expect
- Three years of work experience in a similar position;
- Work experience in the field of household appliances and electronics is desirable, but not critical;
- Excellent MS Excel skills (pivot tables, basic functions – VLOOKUP, SUMIF, etc.);
- Experience with pivot tables and basic Excel functions for the daily rhythm of the company;
- Experience in building relationships with partners and colleagues;
- Skills of short-term planning in the horizon of 4-8 weeks.
- Business correspondence skills in English;
- Experience of making presentations in English;
- The level of English language proficiency is advanced;
- Fluency in Polish at a conversational level will be an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Participation in the preparation of P&L of the country, profit planning;
- Preparation and protection of budgets for countries in the region;
- Planning according to target indicators;
- Maintaining relations with key partners;
- Ensuring the operational cycle;
- Presentation and approval of plans;
- Distribution of responsibility for subordinates and control of execution;
- Conducting status meetings and decision-making meetings;
- Making decisions related to the competitive environment and price positioning;
- Weekly control of promo activities of partners;
- Work with reports;
- Work with pricing;
- Monitoring of competitors’ prices;
- Sales monitoring;
- Preparation of proposals to improve sales actions;
- Monitoring of competitors’ marketing activities;
- Managing the distributor team in the accountable countries.
