We are looking for an experienced Accountant for our client – an international company, developer, and manufacturer of smart TVs and TV services. Selling products in European and Asian markets. Developing our own software with an intuitive interface.

We expect

🎯 

  • Experience as a Lead Accountant/Chief Accountant of a company from 5 years;
  • Areas of activity: Trade, Export/Import of goods; 
  • Higher professional education;
  • Knowledge of English language; 
  • Knowledge IFRS;
  • Knowledge of foreign economic activity (import from EU/China, export to EU/CIS countries);
  • Knowledge of all aspects of accounting;
  • Knowledge of management accounting;
  • Knowledge of the legal and regulatory framework in the field of tax legislation and the regulation of financial and economic activities;
  • Knowledge of tax and employment law;
  • Good knowledge of Excel;
  • Experience of setting up an accounting function in a company.

Nice to have

  • Analytical, attention to detail, results oriented, systematic approach to problem solving, communication skills;
  • Knowledge of Russian/Ukrainian language will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Responsibility for accounting and tax accounting functions;
  • Maintaining accounting and tax records in compliance with Hungarian tax and accounting legislation;
  • Maintain control over the correct and timely execution of primary documentation, inventory accounting, and cash control operations;
  • Accrual and payment of taxes;
  • Accrual of salaries and payment of wages to company employees;
  • Ensuring the accuracy, relevance, and safety of information in the accounting database;
  • Preparation and submission of tax, accounting, and statistical reports;
  • Communication with auditors and external consultants;
  • Control accounting and tax policies in compliance with Hungarian legislation and regularly monitor regulatory changes.
